“Trial Smile”

Trial Smile is a service we provide that makes a mock up of what your smile would look like with veneers. This gives you the ability to take your future teeth for a test drive. Trial Smile is a non-invasive, simple, pain free and temporary way to see how your teeth would look with porcelain veneers.

After meeting with your cosmetic dentist and having a proper consultation we perform Trial Smile, which offers a temporary look at what you’d look like with porcelain veneers.

This is how Trial Smile works:

Step 1- A blue print of your desired smile is given to a dental laboratory artist, who will use models of your teeth or digital images to create your design. At Beacon Place Dental Group, we use a design technique called “Digital Smile Design” to create your blue print, “smile”, that makes it unique to you.

Step 2- This design is then transferred to your models, by using wax, the laboratory dental artist sculpts the wax to form the shape of the new you.

Step 3- Create a silicone index which duplicates the wax form

Step 4- Inject tooth colored material into the form which is then placed over your teeth to create an overlay on top of your existing teeth. This will give you an idea of what your veneers may look like.

Now, keep in mind that your teeth are not being altered in any way, so if your teeth are too big or too long and need to be shorter or smaller then this will not work.

Once you had a chance to admire what could be done, this temporary overlay is peeled off.
